Job Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for the overall management of HNW PL accounts including educating clients about insurance needs and policy coverages marketing coverage and pricing options and assisting clients with making coverage changes assists producers in closing new business opportunities and identifying account rounding and cross sell opportunities for existing accounts; must be knowledgeable in complex personal lines coverages be familiar with insurance company underwriting guidelines and appetite and must maintain a good rapport with clients company underwriters and the rest to their client service team. A HNW PL Account Manager is committed to delivering a consistently impeccable experience.
Responsibilities:
Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options /exclusions making coverage recommendations requesting policy changes handling premium collections and answering questions and concerns of the client. Responds to client service requests in a timely manner that will avoid potential E&O issues.
Provide inhouse customer service to clients as assigned.
Perform renewal reviews including recommendations for improved coverage remarketing with other carriers and soliciting additional lines to round out accounts.
Provide reactive service and solicit additional lines to round out the account where applicable.
Procure quality new business by soliciting additional lines of coverage on existing clients. Prequalify and analyze clients exposures to determine acceptability and placement. Prepare quotes proposals and complete applications including all supplemental forms in accordance with the carrier and agency guidelines.
Initiate renewal reviews and remarket as appropriate to provide the client with the optimal solution in the coverage of their assets and the retention of the account. Present schedules of insurance and carefully review changes in exposure to avoid potential E&O issues.
Process surplus lines agency bill renewals and remarket to an admitted carrier whenever possible.
Review renewals to determine if nonstandard policies can be rewritten in a standard market. Prepare rewrite applications.
Maintain client accounts on agency automation system document conversations properly attach documents in ImageRight send confirmation to insureds and adhere to all other automation procedures that are or become established. Maintain followup and task system for outstanding orders and correspondence. Respond to carrier requests for additional information in a timely manner to avoid potential E&O issues.

Requirements:
License 220
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Proficient in the use of EPIC
Education/Experience:
Ten 10 years minimum experience as personal lines account manager/ customer service representative required.
Effective communication skills strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.
Must have excellent computer skills and the ability to learn any other automation/internet programs as required.
Must have the ability to read understand and interpret policy change requests and communicate the request clearly to the insurance company
Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail respond to multiple requests effectively and to delegate work efficiently to support staff.
Able to interact with others effectively cooperate positively and provide information and guidance as needed to contribute to the business efforts of the agency.
