Position Summary
The University of Southern Indiana seeks applications for a tenmonth parttime 50 Instructor in Nursing. Position will begin August 1 2025 or when filled.
Duties/Responsibilities
This position will assume classroom teaching responsibilities in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs in the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions
Required Knowledge and Skills
To qualify a Masters degree in Nursing is required. All candidates must hold a valid and unencumbered Indiana (or compact) RN license.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
Doctoral degree in Nursing and teaching experience are preferred.
About the College
The faculty in the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions work collaboratively with nursing and other health care professional faculty. The support for facultys teaching practice and scholarship activities are substantially enhanced through grants and other extramural funding. A cuttingedge Clinical Simulation Center is used to enhance student learning and support innovative teaching.
The college in addition to university support has a fourperson technology team that supports the online and inclassroom teaching for nursing program courses. A dedicated Advising Center for the College provides support for student advising and related activities. All programs are fully accredited and have an exemplary record of grant award successes.
