What You Bring to the Table:
- A technical qualification or background is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in sales or automation technologies are a definite advantage.
- A minimum of 23 years experience in technical sales within the industrial automation or process control industry.
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in selling products such as Low Voltage Drives Medium Voltage Drives PLCs SCADA systems Servos Gearboxes and Motor Control Centres.
What Youll Do:
Sales & Business Development:
- Proactively identify and target potential clients across key industries.
- Develop and implement sales strategies designed to exceed revenue targets.
- Deliver compelling presentations product demonstrations and prepare tailored proposals and quotes.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to boost the companys growth.
Technical Expertise & Support:
- Provide expert product knowledge to help customers select the most suitable process control and automation solutions.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and product developments in the field of process control and automation.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure customer solutions are both technically sound and fully aligned with their needs.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong longterm relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Regularly follow up with clients to discover opportunities for upselling and crossselling.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns efficiently ensuring toptier service at every stage of the sales cycle.
Market Research & Reporting:
- Stay ahead of market trends industry shifts and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunities.
- Provide valuable feedback to management regarding customer needs market dynamics and opportunities for product enhancements.
- Prepare weekly sales reports and forecasts for review with management.
