JOB DESCRIPTION:
Admin Assistant will assist in supply chain management and procurement of organic ingredients/packaging materials amongst other items on a worldwide scale. Candidate must possess negotiating networking and arithmetic skills as well as dealing with other factors such as sustainability risk management and ethical issues. RESPONSIBILITIES:
forecasting sales and purchase levels of materials to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels;
Conducting research and liaising between suppliers manufacturers relevant internal departments and customers;
Identifying potential suppliers visiting existing suppliers building and maintaining good relationships with them;
Negotiating and agreeing multiyear contracts;
Processing payments and invoices;
Forecasting price trends and their impact on future purchases;
Executing a purchasing policy set forth by the purchasing department;
REQUIREMENTS:
Effective communicator and researcher;
Strong analytical and PC proficiency in excel word outlook and mathematical calculations;
Ability to work independently and in a team self motivated and results oriented;
Strong organizational project management and multitasking skills
