DescriptionOnsemi is seeking a Principal Analog design Engineer NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Power Management to join our growing team in Bengaluru India.This group is responsible for development of Power management products including DCDC PMIC/POL Multiphase controllers Dr. MOS ACDC converters LED drivers SiC drivers Switches and efuses for consumer industrial and automotive applications. In this role you will focus on the following
- Lead an analog IP block from definition to IP delivery
- Evaluate intermediate and results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives
- Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitors the progress of IC layout
- Collaborate with Design Verification teams during the pretapeout phase of a project to ensure completion of all technical tasks before tapeout
- Collaborate with validation product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production
- Collaborate with overseas design and systems teams on technical aspects IP development sharing of knowhow
- Own technical outcomes of design verification implementation and of power management ICs with complexities that can span from simple regulators to complex mixedsignal designs and control loops
- Understand project goals create a realistic schedule and resource plan track schedule to plan monitor progress and provide full clarity to the team on the goals and objectives

ResponsibilitiesMinimum Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related 10 years of experience or MS 8 years of experience
- Solid track record of delivering multiple complex IPs to manufacturing
- Extensive knowledge of engineering processes principles and methodologies
- Goal and outcomefocused with the ability to handle multiple projects within the team
- Ability to attract and retain key engineering talent
- Ability to clearly articulate issues challenges and concerns to all levels of management
- Good understanding of various Power Converters such as Buck Boost LDOs gate drivers comparators linear regulators gmstage and relevant Analog building blocks
- Good understanding of topologies and architectures for Constantontime Peak and Valley Current Mode Voltage Mode MultiPhase Controllers and Smart Power Stages
- Understanding of DCDC PMIC/POL Multiphase controllers Dr. MOS ACDC converters LED drivers SiC devices and drivers is a strong plus
- Strong Analog IC design skills debug of complex silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing
- Familiarity with advanced Bipolar CMOS and High Voltage BCD technology Process Device Physics Semiconductor Manufacturing processes and their impact on Analog performance
- understanding of large power transistor (LDMOS) Design Layout and Robustness
- Proficiency in leadingedge design and verification tools such as Simplis or MATLAB for architectural simulations Cadence Spectre for schematic capture simulation layout and tapeout
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
