Job Description

Provide lifeguarding services throughout the school year for PE classes. Class coverage times will vary throughout the school day/year and are scheduled by the PE Chairperson at the start of the school year. Any changes/updates to these schedules will be communicated as needed. As the primary lifeguard for after school athletics coverage for practices and events will run from 2:15pm until completion of any home games/contests/matches throughout the school year. Some events will also occur on nonschool days and are scheduled in advance and communicated by the Athletic Director/Athletics Office. Schedules are determined by the Athletic Director and will be communicated prior to the start of each season. The position is for the duration of the school year approximately 35 hours per week. Opportunity for overtime during swim seasonMonday after Thanksgiving until approximately March 1st. Any changes/updates to these schedules will be communicated as needed.QUALIFICATIONSAmerican Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. CPR Certification
