Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your signalling systems and projects expertise in a new cuttingedge field. Youll report to Cristian in Brasov and work alongside his professional and dedicated teammates.
Youll manage and coordinate the signalling systems according to the contractual requirements and customer expectations. Daytoday youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering industrial quality different support functions) manage signalling systems related metiers and much more.
Youll specifically take care of signalling system but also provide operational support to bid & project team.

Be accountable for project QCDP performance and optimize Project Financial performance (Sales & Cash)
- As owner of the Project Management Work Package (WP) the Project Manager is QCDP accountable for all the activities of its WP.
- Brings all necessary support through expertise & resources to Projects to achieve QCD commitments.
Be responsible for the project governance. Define project strategy in line with contract requirements including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to SubSystems (planning cost quality performance)
Lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from transfer to closeout including:
- Proper transfer from tender to project
- Ensure the coordination of works planification in accordance with Client traffic request (TMP)
- Definition of Project objectives and main drivers (product/service performance planning) to achieve customer satisfaction in the frame of the Contract
- Analysis of Critical Issue regarding the time constrain and propose solutions to mitigate
- Ensures Site cohesion and constructive relations between parteners.
- Coordonation the development and maintenance of the Schedule in accord with Customer and Contract requirement
- Responsible with works coordination within time schedule constrain.
- Ensure support for elaboration of the monthly or sectorial report.
- On request of CR or CPM provide reports regarding the status of the Project.
- Responsible for coord. for elaboration of specific procedure for fix milestone (total closure of the track).
- Traking the Physical Progress through Hand over table and site visit/verifications.
- Resources management:
- Define in advance project core team staffing as well as its WP resources
- Escalate when project resources available do not match the project needs
- Team leading including Core Team and when applicable Project Managers of internal and external partners:
- Make sure that key project stakeholders are aligned towards project/ goals.
- Engage project teams in the successful achievement of project objectives and strengthen relationships among them
- Synchronize internal partners and arbitrate when necessary
- Alignment with contractual requirements and management of variation orders. Arbitration of QCDP rebaselining and change management at project level. Manage claim and litigations if needed
- Proactive risk saving and opportunity management
- Management of the project progress and its KPIs and reports to senior management with transparency during the business/critical project reviews. The Project Manager is the representative of the project towards Alstom management.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable rules instructions and standards: Code of Ethics & Compliance EHS Railway Safety Quality Project Management Manual
Manage customer and external stakeholders relationship
- Continuously ensuring alignment with customer contractual requirements
- Alstom representative towards Customers and when applicable external stakeholders (Consortium JV
- Ensuring contract management and variation orders towards customer

- University degree or passionate in technical field
- Experience in infrastructure / signalling / construction / turnkey projects
- Expertise in complex multidisciplinary construction activities.
- At least 5 years of experience in manage and coordination of railway field works.
- IPMA certification is a plus
- 5 years experience as: subsystem/component manager or qualified project manager
- Experience of working in and with multinational companies and in different business cultures
