Job Description
IT Project Manager
Our client is looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a IT Project Manager for software engineering. This position will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering This position is required to work onsite 5 days/week
The IT Project Manager of our inhouse team focused on development of quality
software in support of our business objectives. Prior experience with project
management and people leadership in an Agile software development environment. This IT Project Manager must be meticulous and organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced team environment. Candidate will develop an unbiased framework to establish priority and be able to use that framework to categorize each project based on the established and approved framework. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to work with our Product Owner to help prioritize key projects and drive to completion. This position requires the capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements for the IT Project Manager
Using agile methodology values principles and practices to plan manage and deliver solutions.
Determining and managing tasks issues risks and action items.
Scheduling and facilitating meetings and decisionmaking processes in a timely manner
Demonstrate outstanding project leadership skills to ensure delivery of projects on time and on
budget
Monitor the performance of development resources and adjust as needed to ensure successful
software roll out every sprint cycle
Successfully manage within the confines of time cost and quality across multiple initiatives and
multiple time zones
Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the software
development team.
Organize business analysis and quality assurance functions as they relate to software development
Own the weekly/biweekly software roll out ceremonies and drive change as needed
Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders on key performance indicators Be
proactive in communicating potential delays to leadership and be able to seek help when projects
are in jeopardy
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems or a related
field or equivalent experience
5 years of experience working as a Project Manager in web development or eCommerce
Experience leading and managing midsize to large software projects
Experience with multiple Project Management disciplines is desired
Meticulous attention to detail and extremely selforganized
Driven selfstarter that is goal oriented
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum ceremonies
Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

On time delivery of project priorities as agreed upon by the organization
Make suggestions remove roadblocks on project and find ways to improve team and project
success
Be a strong leader to deliver and hold team accountable
Successfully manage across multiple project types with resources in multiple time zones
Roll out of software that is performant and of high quality
Proactively communicate with executive and management team around delays and deliveries
Overall be assertive possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate successful delivery
- of projects based on time quality and budget
