Description
2. Assesses monitors and implements supportive nursing care health counseling and education to patients related to workplace injuries and employee illnesses occurring in the workplace.
3. Communicates with all levels of management and Human Resources as well as third party vendors.
4. Conducts initial assessment of Workers Compensation injuries and administers first aid when determines need for advanced medical referral.
5. Conducts preemployment screenings: scheduling exam preparation specimen collection result followup medical record notes and inter department communications.
6. Conducts initial assessment of Workers Compensation injuries and administers first aid when determines need for advanced medical referral.
7. Administers immunizations and PPDs as required.
8. Takes and record vital signs. Requests laboratory results.
9. Assists medical providers with procedures as requested.
10. Performs returntowork exams.
11. Collaborates with department managers and/or Human Resources to related to documented employee restrictions and requests for accommodations.
12. Maintains stocks and orders medical supply inventory.
13. Communicates across all levels of the organization as well as Network sanctioned third party vendors.
14. Demonstrates compassion while remaining objective.
15. Maintains high degree of confidentiality and full compliance under HIPAA Network policies and regulatory agency requirements.
Minimum Experience: three years
Desired: Bachelors Degree in Nursing prior Employee Health experience preferred.

Physical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
