What Youll Do:
As a program coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of ELSA (Multilingual Learner Summer Program). This will include conducting outreach to families and enrolling students in the program organizing bus transportation setting up classrooms and the daily schedule of the program ordering supplies organizing field trips communicating with ELSA teachers about program needs and other duties as needed.
Role Responsibilities:
- Program Coordination
- Create and disseminate information about the ELSA summer program to students and families ensure the enrollment of approximately 40 multilingual learners
- Organize bus transportation for ELSA with students families
- Create a daily program schedule for classes secure and organize classrooms for the program
- Communicate with teachers about the program order supplies and meet other program needs that may arise including student discipline and family communication
- Oversee the successful daytoday operations of the ELSA summer program
- Collect and analyze data to improve instruction and the quality of collections.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree Required; Masters Degree preferred
- Required Massachusetts teaching certification/licensure in ESL either preK6 or 512
- Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsementrequired
- Ability to meet the expectations of the Massachusetts Standards and Indicators of Effective Teaching Practice
- Second Language (Spanish) Proficiency a plus
- Bilingual candidates and candidates of color strongly encouraged to apply
- Current authorization to work in the United States
