Responsibilities
Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care
Monitor and track changes in the client/patients conditions and needs and keeps the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed
Proactively updates client/patients family on plan of care health changes and concerns
Skills:
- Proven experience as a registered nurse
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Indepth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation decontamination etc. and willingness to follow them at all times
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
Requirements
Current unrestricted RN license in the state of South Carolina
Strong Peripheral IV skills preferred Recent PICC and central line skills preferred
Certified CPR and negative 2 step TB skin test or chest xray
Minimum one 1 year of documented experience required in a home health agency primary care clinic or health facility preferred.
Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance and reliable vehicle
Must be able to stand walk squat bend kneel reach twist push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
