Position Summary:

The FAU Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) is seeking several Instructional Design Assistants Boca Raton FL.

The Instructional Design Support staff helps instructional designers develop highquality courses for all learning environments in a higher education setting.

The Instructional Design Assistants for this job are spy and resilient and works optimally in a fastpaced frequently changing environment. They support excellence in course development by becoming familiar with adult learning theory instructional design theories and effective assessment practices. Initiative problemsolving and interpersonal communication are essential to this position.

The Instructional Design Support staff analyzes situations to implement quick and effective solutions in a positive teambased approach. This role will create and manage online technologybased academic content and courses in flexible modalities.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Center for Online and Continuing Education at Florida Atlantic University seeks scholars who are committed to supporting the learning needs of students from diverse backgrounds and to thoughtfully engaging all communities in higher education. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in Education Educational Technology Instructional Technology Information Technology Professional Development or related degree and two years in instructional technology instructional design or related experience required.

Salary:

$22 $28 per hour.
Other Personnel Services (OPS).

College or Department:

Center for Online and Continuing Education.

Work Days and Hours:

Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm.

Temporary positions are usually not eligible for benefits and retirement; however they may be eligible for health insurance coverage depending on the average hours worked per week. Temporary positions do not have layoff rights and may be terminated without prior notice.
