Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Drafting and Designing:
- Utilize AutoCAD software to create accurate and detailed drawings for construction projects.
- Implement architectural and engineering concepts into drawings ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and other team members to develop design plans and resolve design issues.
2. 3D Modeling and Visualization:
- Utilize 3Ds Max software as well as other relevant tools like Sketchup and Lumion to create 3D models and visualizations of architectural designs.
- Apply rendering techniques to produce realistic and visually appealing representations of proposed structures and landscapes.
3. Site Supervision:
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and construction workers to communicate design changes and resolve onsite issues promptly.
- Verify that construction activities are carried out according to approved plans and quality standards.
4. Project Coordination:
- Assist in project coordination tasks including scheduling budgeting and procurement of materials.
- Liaise with project stakeholders including clients architects and consultants to facilitate smooth project and timely delivery.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of design revisions site observations and project correspondence.
- Prepare progress reports and updates for project management highlighting key milestones challenges and resolutions.
6. Continuous Learning and Development:
- Stay updated with industry trends software advancements and best practices in drafting design and construction.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in AutoCAD 3Ds Max and other relevant software tools.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture or B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Minimum of 23 years of realtime experience in AutoCAD drafting and design.
- Handson experience in 3Ds Max software and other relevant visualization tools.
- Site visit experience is essential.
