The Construction Materials Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the construction materialsmanagement ensuring efficient storage inventory management and timely delivery ofmaterials and equipment for construction projects while also managing staff and maintaining asafe work environment.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

  • Inventory Management:
    • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of all materials and equipment.
    • Implement and maintain inventory control systems.
    • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with data storage systems.
    • Manage and document transfer of custody of construction materials to contractor(s).
  • Warehouse Operations:
    • Oversee receiving warehousing and distribution operations.
    • Ensure efficient storage and retrieval of materials and equipment.
    • Implement and maintain warehouse layout and organization in various locations
      throughout construction site.
    • Manage warehouse equipment including forklifts and other machinery.
    • Coordinate with Construction Management Team to ensure Group14 and allcontractor(s) have sufficient and proper laydown space (i.e. climate control weatherprotection etc. at the construction site.
    • Review the procurement schedule and identify the need for additional warehouse or laydown space based on upcoming deliveries.
  • Staff Management:
    • Supervise and train warehouse staff including warehouse associates and forkliftoperators.
    • Assign tasks monitor performance and provide coaching and feedback.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures in the warehouse.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Coordinate with project managers construction crews and purchasing to ensuretimely delivery of materials and equipment.
    • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Budget Management:
    • Assist with the development and management of the warehouse budget.
    • Monitor expenses and identify costsaving opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience: Proven experience in materials and warehouse management preferably in theconstruction industry.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and trainstaff.
  • Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Safety: Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • ProblemSolving: Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse management software and othercomputer systems. SAP by Design experience is a plus.

The annual base salary range for this position is $80000 $110000. All positions come with a bonus plan and company stock options. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors which may include the applicants qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate nondiscriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.

Base Pay Range

$80000 $110000 USD
