Job Description
Motor Design Engineer: Mechanical
Responsibilities
Mechanical Design for production grade industry standard motor (BLDC PMSM SRM SynRM etc) as per application requirement
Review motor designs done by external consultants
Benchmark and review competitor motors
Indentify partners/vendors to do prototyping and large scale manufacturing
Do field trials and testing of the product before large scale depoloyment
Review field issues figure out solutions to it for short term and also improve product design in the long term for the same
Generation and of machinespecific test plans and engineering documentation
Evaluation of motors against various IS CE and ISO standards
Eligibility / Qualification(mandatory skills and qualification)
Degree in mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
Previous experience in designing mechanical parts of motor and prototyping of motors
Hands on knowledge of mechanical design and analysis of moto dynamics.
Hand on experience of various rapid prototyping like wire cutting last cutting etc
Knowledge of material science for selecting type of material for motor
Preferred Candidate (skills / tasks / experience / x companies that will give extra edge to this profile)
1.Hands on tools like cad software dynamic analysis and siziy of motor padtso
2.Understanding and experience of all mechanical aspects that influence the design of rotating electrical machines. This would extend to familiarity with CAD analysis tools
3.Basic knowledge of manufacturing and assembly techniques of rotating electrical machines
4.Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems
5.Strong understanding of fundamental physic
6.Gone through the lifecycle of motor design prototype manufacturing and postproduction of motors
