KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contract Negotiation: Select and utilize appropriate contract templates for vendor negotiations ensuring alignment with organizational goals and policies.
- Redlining Facilitation: Organize and manage the redlining process coordinating with Legal and other Shared Services to ensure accurate and timely revisions of legal terms.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Category Managers and Legal teams to establish contracting policies early in vendor engagement ensuring clarity on nonnegotiable terms.
- Contract Drafting and : Draft redline and execute various contractual documents including MSAs Amendments SOWs change orders and renewals in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Timely Updates: Monitor the contract lifecycle and provide regular status updates to business stakeholders ensuring transparency and proactive management of contract timelines.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with Shared Services to finalize contracts using organizational templates and standard Terms and Conditions with a focus on reducing contractual risk.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Contract Management Services driving continuous improvement within the contracting process.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Contract Lifecycle Management
Skill in translating business requirements into legal terms identifying potential risks and managing contract dependencies to create robust legal agreements that protect and further McKessons interests. - Negotiation
Proficiency in negotiating terms exploring alternatives and influencing outcomes to achieve mutually beneficial agreements that align with McKessons strategic goals. - Customer Relationship Management
Ability to understand define and support McKessons interbusiness operations while fostering strong collaborative relationships between S&P and its business partners. - Category Management (Indirect Procurement)
Ability to partner with Category Managers to drive value through supplier negotiations strategic sourcing and vendor management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Minimum of 4year degree in Business Supply Chain or Law
Experience
- 4 years of Supply Chain/Sourcing/Contract Negotiation
- Experience negotiating/managing commercial contracts
