Job Description

Are you a Registered A&E Nurse based in London looking for some extra work Pulse Nursing are seeking professional experienced A&E nurses to join our team. As an A&E nurse you will be working in a fastpaced environment alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver top quality care to patients.

This current opportunity will give you the flexibility to book in advance so you can plan ahead and in turn be in control of your schedule. With Barts being one of Pulse Nursings priority clients we can offer a great deal of shifts within this trust.

We are offering a variety of shift patterns including the option of fulltime equivalent hours in Barts Health Trust paying between 19.72 31.00 per hour.

Registered A&E Nurse Responsibilities Includes:

  • Doing the initial patient examination to assess the patients needs
  • Fixing dressings and administering medication for pain relief
  • Determining what department the patient needs to be referred to
  • Completing all paperwork including discharge forms
  • Talking with the paramedics and taking over the patients care
  • Making arrangements to admit patients into hospital if needed
  • Working with doctors to keep patients and their family members updated on test results or treatment recommendations
  • Maintaining contact with laboratory personnel to report any initial lab findings back to the A&E doctors
  • Taking basic observations including pulse blood pressure and oxygen saturation

Registered A&E Nurse Requirements:

  • NMC Registration 6 months
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting
  • To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS Occupational Health Clinical References and Updated CV
  • Right to work within the UK Proof will be required.
