CNC Programmer Precision Machining
Full Time
Indianapolis IN
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team in Indianapolis IN.
Ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in CNC programming (NX preferred) with a focus on precision machining for various industries. As a CNC Programmer you will be responsible for programming setting up and optimizing CNC machines to produce highquality components. Your role will be essential in maintaining production efficiency ensuring the highest standards of safety and meeting project deadlines.
What you are doing as a CNC Programmer:
- Write and modify CNC programs for a variety of machines (including mills and lathes) using industrystandard software such as Mastercam Siemens or NX.
- Set up CNC machines load programs verify tool offsets and perform test cuts to ensure accuracy.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize CNC machining processes to improve efficiency reduce cycle times and enhance product quality.
- Troubleshoot machine and programming issues offering solutions to keep production running smoothly.
- Work closely with machinists engineers and production teams to ensure seamless production flow and meet tight customer schedules.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications using precision measurement tools such as calipers micrometers and gauges.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed including program revisions and machine setup sheets.
What you need as a CNC Programmer:
- 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in CNC programming software (NX Mastercam Siemens or similar).
- Experience working with CNC controls such as Fanuc Siemens or Haas.
- Strong understanding of Gcode Mcode tooling and machine setup.
- High level of accuracy and precision in producing parts to tight tolerances.
- Ability to troubleshoot programming and machine issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and documenting processes.
Experience in industries such as aerospace automotive or medical device manufacturing
