Job Description:
Essential Functions:
Conduct indepth RFP analysis identifying risks and crafting compelling proposals in a fastpaced missionfocused environment
Align contracts with company policies legal requirements and customer expectations
Develop competitive bids and proposals tailored to customer needs and organizational objectives
Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and an executable business deal are reached
Manage the contract administration process for optimal support of internal and external customers
Serve as the key liaison between L3Harris and customers ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Work with crossfunctional teams to evaluate performance costs performance and delivery schedules to ensure contract accuracy and completeness
Manage change processes in dynamic environments coordinate with internal teams and preserve rights for adjustments
Demonstrate independent critical thinking and problemsolving skills
Proactively contribute strategic insights to business operations for continuous and improvement
Build strong relationships and enhancing team dynamics
Prioritize tasks with urgency to meet multiple deadlines and customer commitments
Advise management on contractual rights and obligations to protect company interests
Maintain detailed records for all contracts managed
Clearly present information to various stakeholders including management
Capable of working in a classified environment such as a SCIF
Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance is required
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; Or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
8 plus years of experience in federal contract management including Cost Reimbursable Time and Materials and Firm Fixed Price contracts
Recognized subject matter expert with indepth knowledge of contract management practices
Strong expertise in FAR and DFARS regulations with the ability to guide teams through compliance during proposal development negotiation and contract administration
Proven experience negotiating terms and conditions with government entities and prime contractors across various contract types
Familiarity with working alongside DCMA DCAA and other federal agencies
Experience managing intellectual property and data rights issues
MBA preferred or equivalent experience
Highly selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple contracts independently
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience working collaboratively in a diverse multidisciplinary and fastpaced team environment
Strong work ethic and a dedication to contributing to the organizations success
Excellent communication skills (written verbal and presentation)
Professional Contracting Certifications preferred
