Job Description
Job Title: Head of Health Safety and Environment (HSE)
Job Location : Kolkata
Job Role:
We are seeking a Head of Health Safety and Environment (HSE) to oversee and standardize all HSE activities within our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and improving HSE policies managing HSE implementation across multiple branches sourcing and leading HSE experts and driving the standardization of all HSE processes. This role requires a safetyfirst mindset strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate with branch heads department heads and clients. The candidate should be willing to travel to different branches periodically and demonstrate a professional approach towards all activities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement HSE policies for the company
- Manage HSE implementation across multiple branches
- Source and lead HSE experts for all branches
- Implement improvement projects related to HSE
- Provide training and skill development
- Standardize all HSE processes
- Organize audits and own improvement projects
- Monitor daily progress and report on HSE activities
- Coordinate with branch heads and department heads
- Coordinate with clients
- Automate all HSE processes and reporting
- Foster team building and crossfunctional collaboration
- Demonstrate ownershipdriven mindset
- Prepare and adhere to timelines
Requirements
Requirements:
- 15 years of experience in HSE
- B Tech qualification
- Industry exposure in metal recovery slag processing mining contracting material handling or earthmoving
