Job Title: Lead Supply Chain Management

Job Description:

Responsible for developing implementing and administering supply chain programs tools and processes for multiple supply chain functions including commodity management material management procurement and subcontracts. Works with functional leaders to perform analysis and identify areas for performance improvement. Establishes implements and maintains policies procedures and material control systems to reduce costs streamline procedures and implement solutions. Designs and implements business metrics to monitor track and report sourcing project progress.

Essential Functions:

The SCM is a critical role in the decisionmaking discussions and will act as the Supply Chain champion and influencer to drive and improve results. The SCM ensures quick resolution of technical and programmatic issues.

Essential Functions:

  1. Supports proposals and new business pursuits providing both strategic and tactical guidance to effectively execute to business/department goals and objectives. Provides guidance to both production and development efforts and supports all aspects of supply chain strategies to prevent/mitigate risks and increase the probability of win of followon and new business pursuits.
  2. Create subcontracts/IDWAs/Teaming agreements with multiple suppliers/partners.
  3. PO Generation: Candidate will need to create and track POs.
  4. General material procurement for program/IRAD/Capital
  5. Review and approval of labor Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and documenting proposal packages.
  6. Contributes to make vs buy decisions and identifies opportunities for critical parts should cost analyses to be performed.
  7. Assist Programs in the identification and management of critical path parts evaluates feasibility and contributes in the qualification of sources in all stages of the Program. Handles any required Supply Chain programmatic issue escalations that require executivelevel engagement and assistance with resolution.
  8. Supports the determination and recommendations of the selection of suppliers dual sources development early evaluation of capacity and technical capabilities.
  9. Responsible for determining and reporting risks risks mitigations and risk management strategies to the Program and Supply Chain leadership.
  10. Follow compliance policies and procedures which govern the of work across all of Supply Chain. Should be able to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of those policies and procedures in a way that ensures quality and improves effectiveness.
  11. Responsible for identifying process gaps and drive/implement solutions.
  12. Act as the pivot point influencer and facilitator of critical decisionmaking discussions enabling transparent communication between the functions programs leadership as well as the of strategic negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experiencein managing complex programs and/or supply chain efforts.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry with FAR/DFARS.
  • Experience in strategic communications including capture campaigns keep sold campaigns reputation management and executive communications and experince in Aerospace and Defense.
  • Procurement Subcontract Material Management and/or Program Management experience required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Supply Chain processes and systems as well as program management principles and procedures.
  • Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Clearance to support government contracts as well as successfully pass a drug and background check in order to meet eligibility requirements.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Record of successful performance with focus on mission success with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to drive and inspire results/resolution of technical issues and successful outcomes through teamwork.
