JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics a NCAA Division I and Big Ten Conference Institution is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and management of Penn States championship Blue Course and historic White Course located in State College PA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Requires a minimum of a Bachelors Degree and 2 years of relevant experience in golf course maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of turfgrass species agronomic practices and golf course construction principles. Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities with keen attention to detail. Familiarity with irrigation systems equipment maintenance and regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

The salary range for this position including all possible grades is:
