Job Description

Most people dont think too much about how clean water reaches their taps. Or what happens to their wastewater.

But Scottish Water does. In fact its all we think about.

Want to join us As a Management Assistant youll be supporting two of our general managers within the Environment Planning and Assurance directorate.

What youll do

Your days will be full of variety. Youll arrange meetings manage diaries and keep track of key actions to make sure nothing gets missed. Youll handle emails schedule appointments with external stakeholders and keep our SharePoint and Microsoft Teams spaces running smoothly. Youll also take care of travel bookings conference arrangements and approvals on our corporate systems.

Its a fastpaced role but youll be part of a team that supports each other to get things done.

What youll bring

Youll be organised proactive and comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once. Keeping track of schedules deadlines and key tasks will come naturally to you and youll have a keen eye for detail. Youll need to be a strong communicator ready to work closely with colleagues across the business and external partners.

To hit the ground running youll need at least two years experience in an administrative support role within a professional office environment. You should also have a high schoollevel qualification (or equivalent from an accredited institution) and be confident using Microsoft Office at an advanced level.

Youll also be comfortable working independently making decisions and using your initiative to keep things moving.

This is a full time 35 hours per week) position. But youll get plenty of time to recharge with 38 days of holiday every year (including public holidays) with the option to buy five more if you need a little extra time.

This role will be a Grade 3 position. If youre new to Scottish Water youll join us on a starting salary of 25980. Performancedriven pay progression will then allow you to move through the range to a maximum of 30000.

Job offers at Scottish Water are conditional and will be confirmed on completion of our preemployment screening including referencing criminal record checks and license checks. These checks are conducted on our behalf by a third party dont worry well ask your permission before we start.
