Job Description
Team Leadership Lead mentor and develop the finance team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Financial Reporting Oversee financial reporting cycles monitor key metrics and provide insights to support decisionmaking while ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Internal Controls Ensure accurate reconciliation across payment channels automate reconciliation processes and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance
Cash Flow Management Manage cash flow banking relationships and funding strategies to maintain liquidity and optimize costs
Tax & Compliance Ensure compliance with tax regulations across jurisdictions oversee tax filings and lead external audits
Strategic Support Assist with fundraising investor relations M&A activities and provide financial insights for strategic initiatives
Skills & Experience:
Professional Certification Registered with a recognized professional body (CA(SA) CIMA)
Experience At least 5 years of experience in a financial management role
Industry Knowledge Fintech industry experience is highly advantageous
Leadership Skills Proven experience in managing and leading finance teams
Qualification:
CA(SA) / ACMA CGMA
CFA is highly beneficial
