As the Specialist Strategic Partnerships you will help to identify potential strategic partnership opportunities while maintaining relationships and driving business outcomes with the existing portfolio of key vendor partners.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Actively participate in the leased annual sales and margin planning process to help in leased budgeting (with the support and input of vendors) along with seasonal reforecasting
Identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvement
Supporting in the enhancement and tracking of processes for a variety of activities across the Strategic Partnerships ecosystem including but not limited to: customer experiences and associated ROI marketing campaigns and in store event planning key product launches
Assume a leadership role in engaging leased partners in Holt Renfrew sustainability initiatives
Establish priorities and support in developing strategies to meet and exceed financial targets
Build and maintain strong business relationships with vendor management teams and Holts executive teams
Maximize business through the identification of potential business partners and opportunities (including online marketplace vendors)
Ensure that the Holt Renfrew brand is appropriately represented in the selection of leased vendors their assortment and their ongoing customer service and
Work in tandem with other corporate departments to ensure alignment of goals and achievement of company vision
Administer oversee and track the ongoing maintenance of Strategic Partnerships programs and processes including but not limited to:
Assuming a leadership role in weekly sales reporting including the collection and analyzation of data and providing commentary including key insights and learnings
Providing sales reporting for those within the Strategic Partnerships brand portfolio and managing vendor enquiries and requests related to reporting
Working with internal and external operations teams to support the leased brand boutiques and their operations
Overseeing the maintenance of Strategic Partnership agreements summarizing key terms and implications and tracking key notice periods renewal dates and termination dates
Updating and maintaining information in appropriate databases (both manual & automated)
Assist in the development of critical paths and the roll out of all related projects and programs
Onboarding new leased vendors or any conversions with ownership of endtoend processes etc.
Coordinating activities related to new lease vendor onboardings or conversions including but not limited to: setting up SKUs managing inventory buy backs updating critical paths tracking and reporting on progress supporting the development of launch materials and communications etc.
Partnering with Fashion Office and vendor marketing on seasonal campaigns
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
The ideal candidate:
Has a postsecondary degree in a related field
Demonstrates leadership skills with the ability to influence people
Effective communication skills (written & verbal) and a strong problem solver
Strong interpersonal skills and able to adapt and act as both a leader or an individual contributor as required; someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and change
Self starter with the ability to get things done
Exceptional organizational skills and willingness to followup
Enjoys working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and wearing many hats
Is passionate about fashion and luxury retailing
Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
