We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong background in Maintenance Billing to join our growing Property Management/Real Estate Company. The ideal candidate will have handson experience managing accounts payable processes handling maintenancerelated invoices and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial recordkeeping.
- Process and review accounts payable invoices ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Manage and track maintenance billing for various projects ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
- Assist with monthend and yearend financial closing including reconciliations and reporting.
- Monitor and manage the payment schedule ensuring compliance with payment terms and policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate cost coding and budgeting for maintenance projects.
- Ensure all vendor payments are made on time and comply with company policies.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation for annual audits.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable with a focus on maintenance billing or related industries.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial regulations.
- Experience with accounting software QuickBooks Online and Excel proficiency required.
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
