Outreach Strategist
The Outreach Strategist is responsible for creating connections with potential customers with the emphasis on State and National entities both public and private by fostering awareness through generating responses to requests for proposals and moving potential customers through the sales cycle to closing. Working side by side with other members of the Ukeru Team using clear communication and teamwork to demonstrate a seamless flow of information.
Essential Job Functions
- Present promote and sellUkeruequipment/servicesthrough inspiration and relationship buildingto prospective customers
- Establishdevelopandmaintainpositive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling email and inperson opportunities to include conferences
- Search and identify Requests for Proposals (RFPs) that match the work of Ukeru Systems
- Generatethe response to RFPs on behalf of Ukeru Systems; through collaboration with other members of the team.
- Work to ensure Ukeru Systems is on the preferred provider list of all State agencies such as DSS DHHR DOE etc.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes withintimeline
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Adjusts sales tactics based on results and new insights in the field
- Maintain documentation of all customer contacts in Salesforce
- Conduct informationaltelephone calls and video call presentations to interested potential customers
- Work side by side with the Ukeru Marketing and Communications team and the Outreach Engineer to ensure seamless communication and messaging.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma or GED; bachelors degree preferred
- Experience in sales and/or marketing
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Above average communication skills and the ability to create relationships and work as a part of a high functioning team.
- High skill level related to crafting written communication that is inspiring creative and grammatically correct.
- Persuasion negotiation and closing skills.
