ABOUT THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager as the Engineering Intern you will work with various contractors and tradesmen as you learn about managing capital projects and supporting a food manufacturing facility. During this internship you will work on various infrastructure projects onsite including repairs to the parking deck and analysis of the air compression system. Additionally you will assist in reviewing the functionality of various equipment on the production lines.
Parking Deck
- Familiarize yourself with the structure of the parking deck and previous repair work
- Communicate with contractors on site and their managers to stay up to date on the project as it happens
- Help to design new traffic patterns and parking arrangements while the project is ongoing
Air Compressors
- Spend time with building maintenance personnel to understand the air compression system supporting the building and manufacturing processes
- Assist with potential projects to repair/replace an air compressor
Other
- Support additional capital project initiatives as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current college/university student pursuing a degree in Engineering or related technical field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with CAD programs and 3D printing software
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:
Our paid internship program starts between June 2 2025 and June 16 2025 and offers an adaptable 810week experience based on intern availability. The Engineering Intern will report to the office 35 times per week and work from home 02 times per week. Worlds Finest Chocolate will provide the necessary technological equipment.
In addition to gaining meaningful work experience participants will receive support and guidance to advance their professional growth through weekly checkins with their manager weekly learning sessions with HR and mentorship from a company leader as well as other opportunities designed to foster their development.

.Compensation: The salary range for this role is as follows:
- Completion of Junior Year $20.00/Hr.
- Completion of Sophomore Year $19.00/Hr.
- Completion of Freshman Year $18.00/Hr.
- Completion of High School (if meeting qualifications of internship) $16.00/Hr.
