The department of Communication Studies is part of the College of Liberal Arts at Winona State University. The programs curriculum includes three major tracks: Organizational and Corporate Communication Leadership and Advocacy and Applied Communication. In addition to teaching and scholarly excellence the department places high value on applied learning civic engagement and fostering collaborations with colleagues and programs on campus.
