The team will be focused on designing and implementing solutions & toolsets to help Last Mile delivery associates and station managers to scale and operate efficiently in the increasingly complex delivery network.

You will lead and grow a talented team of engineers who develop and integrate latest technologies machine learning and cloud computing into pragmatic solutions for package transportation logistics and delivery.

Well need to tackle problems that span realtime embedded and distributed systems. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity thats higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems that havent been solved at scale before anywhere. About the team
The Transporter Aggregation and Tracking Services (TRACKS) team in the Amazon Delivery organization serves as a system for tracking payable work and evaluating transporter actions. It supports reporting and analytics for various programs and also aids in customer package tracking. We play a critical role in payment processing and serve a global network of Amazon Delivery Associates and Delivery Partners.
5 years of noninternship professional software development experience
5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
