Job Description

Position Summary

This position will join our team of Systems Engineers and Administrators. In collaboration with the team the M365 Workplace Engineer will act as a subject matter expert for the administration and enduser support of the organizations Microsoft 365 platform. This includes Exchange Online SharePoint Online OneDrive for Business Teams Purview & other products in the Microsoft personal productivity suite. This position will be responsible for implementing and managing Microsoft 365 solutions including but not limited to migration from onpremises systems to the Microsoft 365 platform. They will also frequently work with Information Security to enhance our security posture as it relates to the platform and may work directly with endusers to troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 issues including user access connectivity and performance issues. This position is required to develop and maintain documentation and training materials for endusers and IT staff. In addition this position is required to collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure Microsoft 365 solutions align with the organizational goals and objectives. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills working with other team members to complete highly complex projects and deployments.

What will your job entail

Essential Functions:

  • Manages and supports aspects of Microsoft 365 products and Entra (Azure AD) including Intune Autopilot Exchange SharePoint OneDrive Teams Conditional Access MFA Enterprise applications and related technologies.

  • Experience with Microsoft PIM and Lifecycle workflow

  • Experience managing BYOD mobile device management.

  • Experience modernizing legacy platforms with Microsoft cloud native solutions

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to peer and junior team members as a senior member of the team and frequently works directly with endusers.

  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures for the Microsoft 365 platform.

  • Develops a road map toward continual expansion improvement and efficiency gains for existing systems and new implementations based on business requirements.

  • Remains uptodate with knowledge on the Microsoft 365 platform features pertinent to the business.

  • Ensures appropriate testing is conducted prior to deployment of cloudbased applications.

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of 8years ofhandson experience with enterprise networks

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert certification Or equivalent knowledge/experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and support

  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for reporting and administration

  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies

  • Exceptional service orientation

  • Strong Organizational Skills

  • Exceptional Communication Skills

  • Ability to work as an effective team member.

The target salary range for this position is $128000.00 $160000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors such as training transferable skills work experience licensure and certification business needs and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Fulltime roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
