Job Description

The Business Operations Manager is responsible foroverseeing and optimizing the companys operational processes. This roleinvolves managing resources developing strategies to improve efficiency andensuring that all departments work cohesively towards the organizations goals.The Business Operations Manager will collaborate with various teams toimplement best practices resolve operational issues and drive continuousimprovement.

Requirements


Key Responsibilities:


1. OperationalStrategy:

Develop and implement operational strategies thatalign with the companys goals.

Identify opportunities for process improvements andcost savings.


2. ProcessManagement:

o Oversee daytoday operations to ensure thatbusiness functions are efficient and effective.

o Streamline workflows to improve productivity andreduce operational costs.

o Monitor and analyze operational metrics to ensuretargets are met.


3. ResourceAllocation:

o Manage resources including personnel equipmentand budgets to maximize operational efficiency.

o Coordinate with department heads to ensure optimalallocation of resources

4. TeamLeadership:

o Lead and mentor operations teams providingguidance and support to achieve department goals.

o Foster a culture of continuous improvement andaccountability.

5. ProjectManagement:

o Plan execute and oversee projects aimed atimproving business operations.

o Ensure projects are completed on time withinbudget and meet quality standards.

6. CrossFunctionalCollaboration:

o Work closely with other departments such asFinance HR Sales and IT to ensure seamless operations.

o Act as a liaison between operations and otherdepartments to resolve issues and improve communication.

7. Complianceand Risk Management:

o Ensure that all operations comply with companypolicies industry regulations and legal requirements.

o Identify and mitigate operational risks.

8. Reportingand Analysis:

o Prepare and present regular reports on operationalperformance to senior management.

o Use datadriven insights to recommend and implementimprovements.

9. Vendorand Supplier Management:

Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers toensure quality and costeffectiveness.

Negotiate contracts and agreements to benefit thecompany.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in business administration OperationsManagement or a related field. A masters degree or MBA is often preferred.

Experience: 5 to 9 years of experience in operations management with atleast 3 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.

Customer Service and Satisfaction:

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Proficient in project management methodologies.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of business software and tools (e.g. ERP CRM).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project ManagementProfessional) Six Sigma or Lean Management are advantageous.
