HCCS is looking for teachers who are excited about the prospects of using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) frameworks and Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) methodologies anchored to the Massachusetts Common Core Standards to prepare your instructional delivery. HCCS is looking for teachers who: Demonstrate a highlevel of professionalism.Differentiate across unit and lesson plans visvis the UDL frameworks.Illustrate a common understanding of language objectives and SEI techniques.Value a restorative justice approach to classroom and behavior management.Minimum and Preferred Qualifications: The following qualifications are categorized by minimum and preferred. However HCCS welcomes and considers all applicants on a rolling basis. We want to hear from you.Minimum: bachelors degree in subject matter or related field.Minimum: Licensed in the Commonwealth in the subject matter and grade level you are applying for.Minimum: no experience necessary.Preferred: masters degree in subject matter.Preferred: 13 yrs. experience.Typical teacher hours are 7:45am 3:20pm with twice/mo. Wednesday collaboration staff meetings until 4:30pm. Occasional parent/teacher conference and other school events attendance is required.Compensation: HCCS offers a competitive salary and benefits package including performance bonuses and stipends based on attendance licensure advancement and PLC participation.
