Maintenance Engineer I
Pay: $30 per hour
Shift: MondayFriday First Shift

Requirements:
- Strong foundation in all types of manual machines (mills lathes grinders etc..
- Proficiency in utilizing all types of hand tools (powered and unpowered).
- Working knowledge of 12 VDC to 480 VAC electrical wiring and control circuitry diagnosis.
- 3 years of maintenance or mechanical experience.
- Proficiency in basic computer software/programs (Microsoft Office tools email communication etc..
Preferred:
- 5 or more years of maintenance or mechanical experience supporting robotic and/or automated equipment.
- Fully capable of performing MIG welding.
- Industrial electrical and/or welding certifications.
- Basic electrical hydraulic and pneumatic theory.
- Knowledge of PLC and robotic programming.
- CAD experience.
- Experience setting up and/or operating CNC plasma cutting system or similar.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design build install and support custom automated robotic systems. This includes:
- Reading blueprints drawings and sketches for proper machining fabrication/assembly and installation.
- Traveling 10 of the time) for the installation and commissioning support of new and existing plant equipment.
- Assist in electrical projects and perform electrical repairs.
- Read blueprints drawings and sketches for electrical panels/devices assembly and installation.
- Communicate effectively with the electrical designer to address any issues or relay corrections or changes to the electrical design.
- Develop layouts and sequences of operations for custom structural metal products.
- Position align fit and assemble parts using jigs poweredindustrial equipment and hand tools.
- Operate standard poweredindustrial equipment (fork trucks etc) and maintain/repair shop machines and tools.
- Support the maintenance and upkeep of engineering facilities.
- Contribute to site housekeeping and safety programs ensuring a clean and safe workplace.
- Perform certain repairs to power industrial equipment and assist in their rebuilding.
- Improve the reliability and efficiency of systems and equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit stand hear and see on a constant basis.
- Must be able to walk write and type on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
- Must be able to bend carry reach push and pull on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
- May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
- May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
- May work in areas where toxic flammable and hazardous materials are present.
- May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
- Work surfaces may include concrete.
- Employees must be able to tolerate nontoxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required.
- Employees must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
- Some travel to other locations meetings and/or seminars is required.
