Aboutthe role:
The Enphase cloud team is looking for a Quality Engineerfor itssoftware products. In this role you will work with product managers business owners and developers to assess the quality ofsoftware productsat par with bestinclass solutions in the market.
You willberesponsible foranalyzing and making recommendations for improving the quality of our cloud services and applications across our ecosystem. You and your team will be involved in every part of the product cycle from highlevel design to development and validation.
What you will do:
- Own the complete quality ownership of thesystem under test .
- Able to design test cases that are of high quality which helps improving quality of thesystem .
- Help team to design good test cases review their work and give feedback .
- Design testframework fordifferent layersof the application.
- Addautomated tests on web servicesdatabaseand UI layer.
- Be the gate keeper on the quality of the product .
- Define write and execute nonfunctional tests and analyzeresults.
- Debug the issues and help developers to design the bestsoftware product.
- Drive quality metrics on system under testbe responsible forquality of the system.
- Analyse the tests progress of the tests and report to the management on the quality of the system ondaytodaybasis .
- Improvise the test case designs negative tests repeatability tests data validationimpactand riskbased testing.
- Able to work on agile early to market without any compromise on quality .
- Able to work on continuous development and continuous testing
- Help team to setup pipeline which executes automated test based on schedule ondemand
Who you are and what you bring:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in software development/testing.
- 2 years of experience testinghigh scale applications withdistributed architecture.
- Excellent programming skills and ability to debug issues at the code level development .experience isan addedadvantage.
- Experience in negative testing.
- Provide out of box solution to deliver quality in a fastpaced developmentorganization.
- Strong understanding of cloud databases and performance tradeoffs.
- Gogetterattitude and capable of pursuing tough engineering challenges to finalsolutions.
- Lean / Agile attitude .
- Proactive and resultsoriented .
- Team player/builder;possessa cando attitude.
- Experience in providing estimates plan and committed to deliverables.
- Experience as software testing of cloud and digital SW is a plus.
- Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning are a plus.
