Job Description
Job Location: Electronic City Bangalore
Shift Timings: Night shift
Assisting withImplementing upgrading and maintaining Backup and Archive infrastructure across organization including the delivery and documentation of the ITSM processes like Capacity and availability management Performance management lifecycle management patch and vulnerability management Backup & Disaster recovery management/capability Security and hardening Audit & Compliance etc.Supporting the team ensuring that appropriate design planning and operations implementation takes place for all new and existing services.
Alongside standard Backup and Archive engineer duties this opportunity will see you recommend innovative and where possible automated approaches for infrastructure tasks.Work with stakeholders and customers to understand Backup and Archive utilization lifecycle protection requirements and develop these into effective and workable solutions and processes. Support the triage and resolution of escalated complex incidents problems or capacity concerns.As the company operates a 24x7 service this role will require shifts and weekend support out of office hours for emergency support routine maintenance as well as customer services opening hours.
Who you are:
- Basic awareness of Backup & Archive principle
- 26 years of working experience
- Good analytical skills
- Willingness to learn (and interest in the technology)
- Preferably knowledge in IBM TSM NetApp Hyper converged solutions Backup replication and Disaster recovery concepts ideally also knowledge in Cloud storage solutions
- Interpersonal and communication skills
