Position: Medical Interpreters Needed in Boise ID
Are you passionate about bridging communication barriers in healthcare LanguageLine Solutions is on the lookout for dedicated medical interpreters to join our esteemed onsite division in Boise ID. As a leader in language services we are committed to improving patient care by ensuring effective communication between healthcare providers and patients with limited English proficiency.
In this role you will be providing facetoface interpreting services at various healthcare facilities ensuring that patients receive the support they need during critical medical interactions. This is a flexible position offering assignments on an asneeded basis and you will work as an independent contractor.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between healthcare providers and patients.
Maintain professional conduct and cultural sensitivity during all assignments.
Follow specific client instructions while managing the flow of communication in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in medical interpretation is preferred.
Fluency in English and the target language with a strong understanding of cultural nuances.
Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
Education in languages or interpretation is a plus.
