Job Description
Job Summary:
Village Caregiving Bowling Green is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Inhome Caregiver to provide care and support to seniors in their homes in Park City KY and surrounding areas. This is a parttime hourly position in the healthcare/medical field. As an individual contributor you will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily tasks and ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities such as dressing grooming bathing and toileting
Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance if needed
Administer medication as per physicians instructions
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry dishes and tidying up
Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to the care coordinator
Accompany clients on errands and appointments
Follow all care plans and document daily activities and services provided
Requirements:
Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field preferred
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Compassionate patient and dependable
Ability to communicate effectively with clients their families and other team members
Willing to undergo a background check and drug screening
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Physical ability to assist clients with standing walking and other mobility tasks as needed
