About the Role

As a Video Technology Engineer youll have the opportunity to dive deep into the world of embedded software development focusing on Linuxbased platforms and video encoder algorithms. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and optimizing complex algorithmsthat power our innovative video compression technologies such as Axis Zipstream which enables reduced bandwidth and storage needs without compromising on image quality.
• Designing and implementing new features and architectures collaborating with crossfunctional teams to integrate video processing components into our products.
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex issuesin a Linux environment.
• Programming in C/C Python and other relevant languages to create highperformance efficient and highquality code.
• Collaborating with other teams to identify and resolve issues.

A Typical Day can include team meetings to discuss project updates and brainstorm solutions participating in proofofconcept development focused time on coding and testing new features and collaborating with teams to identify and resolve issues.

Your background

• At least a few years of experiencein embedded systems development preferably in a Linux environment.
• Strong technical skills and a genuine interest in staying uptodate with the latest developments in computer science and technology.
• Strong proficiency in C/C programming and lowlevel development with exceptional problemsolving skills and the ability to effectively debug and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders and a proven track record of successful teamwork and crossfunctional collaboration.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with video codec capabilities and streaming frameworks (e.g. H.264 H.265 AV1.
• A masters degree in computer science or related field.
