IT Technology Consultant Service Owner for Incident Management of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery Technical Operations
For the Delivery Center in Bangalore India we are looking for an IT Technology Sr. Consultant with a strong technical background (Basis / Database expert) to drive various continuous improvement and optimization projects within Event Management.
What youll do:
As an IT Technology Senior Consultant you will be responsible for:
- Driving improvement projects / initiatives in Event Management area which includes proactive monitoring topics monitoring & alert processing enhancement initiatives validation adaption of new technical solutions etc.
- Maintenance and management of monitoring environment by providing technical expertise and support.
- Presentation to senior management on service delivery improvement initiatives projects etc.
- Planning setup implementation and operation of SAP technologies achieving ambitious SLAs
- Proper documentation definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes and roll out of this information/knowledge to the team
- Coordination with global delivery team / crisis handling / deescalation initiatives
- Driving war rooms for critical escalations
What you bring:
You will need to be
- BE / B.Tech / MCA from a well reputed institute
- 12 years of experience in SAP BASISHANA
- SAP NetWeaver Certified Technology Consultant/ SAP HANA Certified
- Project member in a large environment and able to work effectively in big and virtual teams.
- Capable in technical documentation and creation of knowledgebased assets (KBAs)
- Customer centricity
- Continuous learner and faster adopter of new technology / process
- Analytical and solutionoriented thinker
- Expert grade communicator with good networking skills
- Willing to work during APJ / EMEA working hours
We are looking for someone who has
- 12 years of work experience / working knowledge in Basis / NetWeaver / Business Objects Business Objects Data Services Databases SAP HANA SAP ASE etc.
- Cloud monitoring knowledge will be added advantage
- Working knowledge in UNIX/Linux environment HANA DB and Sybase ASE databases.
- Basic Knowledge in Network and Storage
- Selfmotivated to independently identify improvement areas.

As part of Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) ECS Delivery formerly HANA Enterprise Cloud Delivery is responsible for running customer landscapes around the globe in a 24x7 operations model. We manage wide variety of businesscritical SAP systems and applications in a global delivery model. We are responsible to build and operate customer systems for ECS.
Within ECS Delivery Technical Operations Event Management is a service area with focus on monitoring customer systems and maintaining monitoring infrastructure. Scope of the same includes on time detection & notification of outages assist faster resolution of outages/critical incidents and driving proactive monitoring and improvement initiatives to improve overall monitoring reliability proactiveness and adherence to customer SLAs.
