SAP MDG/BP Consultant (m/f/d)
Hybrid or Remote Germany or Poland

MDM Team is a specialized unit responsible for ensuring the consistency accuracy and quality of master data within the SAP system. Our role is to establish and maintain robust processes policies and technologies to manage master data effectively. We act as a collaboration hub across IT and Lines of Business.

Your tasks:
Responsible for developing Master Data Standards and support the strategy for SAP MDM Solutions
Develop policies and procedures for creation change and maintain business partners in the software solution and ensure updating the same on a regular basis
Define & Control the Governance in the area of BP. Manages globally controlled master data elements
Monitors master data quality through periodic audits
Leads and provides Subject matter expertise in SAP BP
Perform administrative technical and customizing tasks in the Business Partner domain
Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area
Develops functional specifications / support technical specifications in coordination with development teams basis and various technology specialists to provide solutions and deliver functionalities
Ticket resolution / track the problem solution and update the ticket tracking tool as appropriate
Support the daily operation and effective performance of the business solution
Conduct analysis of problems and ensure appropriate processes followed
Develops expertise in SAP Master Data Management solutions
Keep abreast of SAP industry trends and innovations & future technology development for their respective process areas or functional areas
Collaborate with business owners to identify recommend and implement system and process improvements.
Able to work in teams (BUSIT) and cross functional environments. You will work with business users other SAP functional teams in an integrative manner
Participates with Business and IT Demand to identify and prioritize Business Requirements and supporting business case
Manages working relationship with Global / Local KeyUsers for respective process
Assist business process experts in defining standard operating procedures process flows and related documentation
Initiate escalations as required
Documenting scope business requirements system configuration design functional specifications support for technical specifications and training material as needed
Your skills:
Expertise in Master Data Management
Experience with Business Partner Data Model
SAP MDG Business Partner functional knowledge
ABAP basic knowledge is an advantage
Extensive functional knowledge of business partner domain
HandsOn in SAP MDG BP
Analytically minded structured in work break down and task approach
Functional experience with SAP implementations
Able to efficiently prioritize work and timely inform stakeholders on the progress
Process orientation and user satisfaction attitude
Excellent communication team player very good interpersonal skills with excellent customer service and can do mentality
Attention to detail
English (B2 or higher)
German Language would be an advantage
Knowledge of endtoend process
Experience with SAP Solution Manager
Experience in Wood Manufacturing would be an advantage
