We are seeking Civil Mechanical and Electrical Students for ourCanadian Industrial Divisionto work as Engineering Students for a few of our project site located in North Vancouver British Columbia. We are looking for students that are availablefor 4 or 8 months starting inMay 2025.
As an Engineering Student and depending on your assigned project you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
Assisting with project planning scheduling progress monitoring and cost control.
Participation in project meetings.
Reviewing drawings.
Submit requests for information.
Assisting with the identification and resolution of field technical issues.
Acting as an ambassador for the various safety campaigns.
Conduct field safety inspections.
Communicating changes with trades staff.
Setup / Maintain record keeping.
Adhoc duties as required.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical electrical or civil major.
Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
Application of various computer software programs will be required including Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is an asset.
Selfmotivated.
Multidiscipline mindset.
Working Conditions:
Successful applicants must be able to provide their own CSA approved steel toed boots and be willing to take and pass a PreAccess Alcohol & Drug Test.
Pay Range: $21.20 $26
PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms relevant work terms kind of role and work location.
