Job Description
Voice swallowing and upper airway: The SLP II will work directly with laryngologists and head and neck surgeons specializing in voice swallowing and upper airway disorders Populations served will include pediatric adult and geriatric inpatients and outpatients with voice swallowing or upper airway disorders throughout the hospital system. The SLP II will participate in weekly speech pathology grand rounds laryngology rounds and head and neck tumor board.
Additional Job Description
Education: Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and current Intern Licensure in SLP by the State of South Carolina required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider also required.
