Campus Overview

Kettering Health Springfield

The onestory 42000squarefoot medical center located at 2300 N. Limestone St.

Available services include:

  • 24/7 emergency center including lab and imaging
  • Medical offices for primary care and specialty services
  • The medical facility will employ approximately 50 fulltime positions and it is expected to cost $20 million to build.
  • The new location builds on Kettering Healths existing services in Springfield including a primary care office on Middle Urbana Rd. and a health center on Emmanuel Way that offers imaging services physical and occupational therapy primary care and specialty services.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other interdisciplinary personnel. Utilizing organizational resources the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement. The RNs actions and communications should reflect Kettering Health Networks mission vision values and policies in interactions with patients families and coworker.

The Registered Nurse reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 12 months of RN experience in an acute care or long term care setting
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification required within six months of hire
  • Must be scheduled a minimum of 288 hours per calendar year
  • Minimum of 1 shifts 12 hours) per a 6 week schedule
  • Weekend Shift Requirement
  • 1 Holiday per year
