Job Description
Connecting and Protecting People Microwave Products Group (MPG) is a leading global provider of missioncritical engineered electronic components and subsystems comprised of five business units in six manufacturing locations. Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communicationsbased specialty products engineered components and subsystems for demanding military space commercial aerospace/industrial and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Tunes and tests filters and electronic components. Technicians utilize specification sheets and drawings and blueprints Network analyzers and computer programs to outline filter capacity/function. Must adhere to (MOP) Manufacturing Operating Procedures and (ATP) Automated Testing Procedures. Conducts quality assurance spot checks and tests for accuracy of product. Equipment used includes but is not limited to Network Analyzer calipers computer continuity tester/multimeter microscope soldering irons plotter calculator wrenches and tuning instruments. Cleans finished products according to established procedures. Must measure tolerances. Records job specific data on forms logs time sheets and other required documentation. Must complete work with accuracy speed.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
High School Diploma or GED plus related experience such as televisions repair or electronics training. Previous soldering experience or skills preferred. Mathematical skills required with emphasis on the ability to compute rates ratios and percentage. Ability to read comprehend and interpret bar graphs and instructions. Thorough knowledge of calibration reading drawings blueprints and schematics.

Salary Range : $23.00 $25.00
