Job Description
STV is seeking a MEP Inspector Aviation for the Construction Management Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Quality Control:
Conduct inspections of MEP installations (mechanical electrical plumbing HVAC fire protection etc. to ensure compliance with design standards and specifications.
Review and verify materials equipment and installations against approved shop drawings and technical submittals.
Identify and report nonconformances and recommend corrective actions.
Witness testing and commissioning of MEP systems ensuring proper functionality and integration.
Ensure compliance with international codes (NFPA NEC ASHRAE etc. airport regulations and local authority standards.
Project Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate with contractors consultants and project managers to ensure smooth of MEP works.
Review and maintain daily logs site reports and inspection records.
Participate in progress meetings and provide updates on quality safety and work status.
Assist in resolving technical issues related to MEP systems and installations.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure that all MEP works adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
Conduct safety inspections related to MEP systems and report hazards.
Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies for highrisk MEP activities.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP inspection preferably in airport construction or largescale infrastructure projects.
Certifications:
MEPrelated certifications (e.g. LEED PMP NEBOSH QC Certification preferred).
Knowledge of airportspecific MEP standards is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of HVAC fire protection plumbing electrical ELV and BMS systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office and inspection reporting tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication problemsolving and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in highpressure environments with strict deadlines.
