The Communication Specialist will work collaboratively across Magna Powertrains functions and teams to support and execute the global communications strategy that aligns with the organizations business objectives while also connecting with our people at all levels.
Member of the MPT Marketing & Communications team largely focused on corporate communications employee communications and internal events.
Support the of the communications strategy including maintaining internal communication channels.
Collect support and create content focusing on corporate and employee topics and inclusive of interviewing subject matter experts.
Support proofreading and translation process for content including coordinating agency support and internal reviews as required.
Support internal communication events including webcasts conferences and workshops.
Build relationships across divisions and functions to foster open communication.
Provide support on communication campaigns as needed.
Coordinate projects and project teams and report on metrics in cooperation with the team.
Other duties as required.

Strong familiarity with MS Office programs and SharePoint is desirable.
Bachelors degree in communications journalism or related field.

Ability to support global projects and work harmoniously in a multicultural environment
Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
