The modern language program at the Brattleboro Area Middle School places a high value on oral proficiency and authentic cultural experiences. Successful applicants will be certified or certifiable in French (grades 712 and/or Spanish (Grades 712. Brattleboro Area Middle School serves about 250 7th and 8th grade students in southern Vermont. Students attend one advisory every morning take four core classes during the day and three exploratory classes every day. Our school uses a teaming model and students remain on their team for their two years at BAMS.
