M&MS Ecosystem Business Development Manager

Newark NJ

Hybrid

The M&MS Ecosystem Business Development Manager is responsible for prospecting new clients and nurturing the relationships both internally and within the industry to increase awareness and revenue for the M&MS product portfolio including singlecolor bulk M&MS customprinted blends of M&MS and M&MS merchandise in new channels (e.g. Specialty Travel Hospitality Grocery Fashion Promo Distributors etc..

This associate is someone who is a selfstarter and able to effectively communicate the M&MS value proposition in alignment with both Marketing and Merchandising initiatives. In addition they will lead efforts in the creation maintaining and organizing of client and lead databases and will partner with Supply Chain and Contact Center teams in the order to cash process.

What are we looking for

  • Minimum of a BA/BS in Business Administration or related field required
  • 3 years of business development
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly express ideas both orally and in written communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Experience in Salesforce or other CRM applications
  • Previous sales Industry knowledge. Established industry relationships a plus
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 15 travel annually

What would be your key responsibilities

  • Drive sales within new and existing accounts to deliver sales growth targets
  • Develop a network and longterm relationships with key decisionmakers within preferred businesses to drive M&MS value proposition
  • Maintain and service existing relationships with direct customers and distributors.
  • Be familiar with the brands target market and competitors to better distinguish the advantages of M&MS
  • Manage contract negotiations with customers and pricing with Finance business partners
  • Utilize the companys CRM tool to input validate track and manage the account and purchase activity to determine business development qualification
  • Trade and Sales show participation in areas such as design development and presentations
  • Provide weekly reports on business development activities and updates
  • Generate statistical reports for management as necessary
  • Provide input into marketing plans.
