We seek someone who shares our values and can build a culture of inclusion and belonging that allows students to thrive socially emotionally and academically.Cabot School seeks a caring dynamic and innovative elementary math interventionist to join our projectbased team. We are seeking someone to work alongside our core subject area teachers and our special educator to meet the needs of the range of learners in our community. We approach intervention with flexibility (coteaching coplanning small group whole group and individual support systems). Through our innovative learning model students develop research skills public speaking prowess teamwork and the habits of heart and mind necessary for strong academic social and emotional growth.This position is a fulltime position for theschool year. We are seeking a teacher with experience and a love of young people in the middle and elementary grades who has experience with and a commitment to:Collaboration. We seek someone who is invested in collaborating with colleagues and students to meet the needs of a range of learners in our community.Project Based Learning: Planning and implementing rigorous relevant real world projects with a specific focus on math and science learning.Creating a classroom culture that is characterized by a restorative and assets based approach to student relationships and fosters a climate of belonging respect and inclusion.Universal Design for Learning: The ideal candidate would be able to help teachers design flexible learning environments that allow all students to thrive as learners and leaders.Lifelong learning: Approaches students colleagues families and themselves from a growth mindset perspective.This position is grant funded for theschool year.
